RPA Developer (PowerPlatform/UIPath/BluePrism/Automation Anywhere)

About the role

Ascendion is seeking a talented RPA Developer to join our growing engineering team in a full-time capacity. This role is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, and offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotic process automation technologies including PowerPlatform, UIPath, BluePrism, and Automation Anywhere. As an RPA Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions that streamline business processes and drive operational efficiency across our organisation and for our clients. This position is integral to our digital transformation initiatives and will directly impact the way we deliver value through intelligent automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic process automation solutions using industry-leading platforms such as PowerPlatform, UIPath, BluePrism, and Automation Anywhere
• Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities and create detailed automation specifications
• Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots in accordance with established quality standards and best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and other technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure automation solutions meet requirements and function as intended
• Provide technical documentation, including process design documents, technical specifications, and user guides
• Monitor and maintain deployed automation solutions, addressing issues and optimising performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards
• Stay current with RPA technology trends and recommend enhancements or new automation opportunities
• Support the handover of automation solutions to operations and provide training to end users where required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an RPA Developer with hands-on expertise in at least one of the following platforms: PowerPlatform, UIPath, BluePrism, or Automation Anywhere
• Strong knowledge of workflow automation, process mining, and business process improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, Python, or Java
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and practices
• Experience with API integration and web services
• Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Relevant RPA certifications (such as UIPath, BluePrism, or Automation Anywhere certifications) are highly desirable
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools is advantageous
