RRT/Sleep Lab Tech

• The Sleep Lab Supervisor / Respiratory Therapist plans, directs, and evaluates the clinical and administrative activities of the sleep laboratory. This role serves as a bridge between sleep technologists, medical directors, and patients—ensuring high standards of diagnostic accuracy, regulatory compliance, and therapeutic intervention for patients with sleep and cardiopulmonary disorders.

  • Current North Carolina license to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification or obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Two-years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Must be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with 3-5 years of recent work experience in Polysomnography or Sleep Specialty Credential: Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS) credential via NBRC.
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory position preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques.
  • Proficient verbal/written skills.
