Range Safety Officer (RSO) – Full-Time Near Goodsprings, NV (Approx. 40 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip)

Adrenaline Mountain is a 400-acre extreme adventure park offering world-class shooting and adrenaline experiences to guests from around the globe. We operate 365 days a year and regularly work with first-time shooters, making safety, professionalism, and clear instruction essential.

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced, safety-driven Range Safety Officers (RSOs) to support daily shooting operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid firearms background who understand range control, situational awareness, and professional guest interaction in a live-fire environment.

RSOs are responsible for maintaining absolute safety standards while delivering confident, calm, and clear instruction to shooters of all experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full control of live-fire ranges and enforce all range safety rules
• Conduct safety briefings and provide clear verbal range commands
• Supervise shooters, identify unsafe behavior, and take immediate corrective action
• Ensure firearms are handled, cleared, and staged safely at all times
• Maintain hot/cold range protocols and safe firing line operations
• Support a professional, organized, and safety-first range environment
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining authority and control

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Four-day workweek
• 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of firearms or range experience (RSO experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of firearm safety principles and range procedures
• Comfortable giving clear commands and correcting unsafe behavior
• Calm, professional demeanor in high-adrenaline environments
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation required (personal vehicle)

Preferred (Not Required):

• NRA, USCCA, or other recognized RSO certification
• Experience working with first-time or tourist shooters
• Prior military, law enforcement, or professional range experience

Location & Transportation

• Located 3.5 miles outside of Goodsprings, NV
• Approximately 40 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip
• 12 miles off I-15 (Jean exit)
• Final 3.5 miles are a rural gravel/dirt road
• Carpooling available after hire

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
