RTR Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures all financial accounting activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards in a timely and accurate manner.
• Actively participates in internal and external audits and verifies the accuracy of information.
• Provides technical expertise in the Record to Report (RTR) process and effectively resolves escalations and complex queries.
• Reviews financial accounting reports, reconciliations, variance analyses, and related reports.
• Develops required schedules and compiles supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Maintains and builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders and third parties.
• Provides tax-related information required for annual tax computation and tax estimates.
• Supports asset creation and maintenance activities, including settlement rules and fixed asset accounting processes.
• Supports the asset tagging process and asset capitalization activities.
• Performs monthly closing activities related to the asset module.
• Participates in project management activities, including master data creation and capitalization processes.
• Assumes responsibilities related to CTA and Fixed Assets Accounting in accordance with the Financial Target Operating Model (FTOM)

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant disciplines; or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA
• Accountant: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, Executive :3 years relevant work experience.
• Experience in Shared Services Centre will be advantageous
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for record to report transactions and activities
• Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in SAP system and computer applications (Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill and ability to work across cultures, functions and borders
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
• Strong adaptability and learning agility
• Openness to new technologies and AI
• The ability to leverage or develop AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Other available locations: Petaling Jaya, Selangor & Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
