Role: RTR Global Process Architect

Location: Remote (EST)

Position Type: Contract

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Record to Report (RTR) Global Process Architect to support a global SAP S/4HANA implementation . The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP Finance expertise and the ability to assess diverse regional AS-IS business processes, working closely with the Global Process Lead to align them with a standardized global model while minimizing customization.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Solution Confirmation workshops for assigned process areas.

• Evaluate AS-IS operational challenges, identify global solution roadblocks, and propose alternatives that enable adoption of the global standard with minimal or no customization.

• Own and support key project deliverables, including:

• Review and approval of Business Process Requirements, Business Process Design, and Business Process Model documentation

• Leading Functional Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT)

• Configuration of Allocations and Top-Down Distributions

• Contribution to defect resolution

• Collaboration with local implementation teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Validation of ECC to S/4HANA cutover data

• Support during Hypercare

• Under the guidance of the Global Process Lead/Owner, adopt the global template and design required customizations during the implementation phase.

• Review proposed design alternatives with Business User Experts for validation.

• Present draft solutions to regional senior managers and key users to ensure awareness, alignment, and buy-in.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for requirement clarifications during the Program Increment and Build phases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP Finance experience.

• 5+ years of Record to Report (RTR) Process Owner experience.

• Proven experience in global SAP implementations or as a global process owner.

• Strong SAP S/4HANA subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Intercompany Accounting

• Product Costing

• Projects and Assets

• External and Statutory Reporting

• Allocations

• Demonstrated ability to design solutions that drive process improvement and standardization.

• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of organizational challenges.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous and complex environments.

• Excellent organizational, change management, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
