💼 Role: Rubrik Backup Administrator

What You'll Do:

🔹 Administer and maintain Rubrik backup environments across multiple platforms

🔹 Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures or issues promptly

🔹 Develop and implement backup policies, schedules, and disaster recovery plans

🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data protection requirements

🔹 Optimize storage utilization and ensure compliance with retention policies

🔹 Perform regular system upgrades and patch management

🔹 Provide technical support during audits and incident investigations

What We're Looking For:

• 5–8 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps / IaC roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rubrik CDM and enterprise backup platforms.
• Solid understanding of backup concepts (RPO/RTO, deduplication, replication, archival).
• Experience with backup tools such as Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault (added advantage).
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure backup and disaster recovery services.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments and virtualization platforms (VMware preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and incident management skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Rubrik certifications (e.g., Rubrik Certified Administrator/Engineer).

* Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).

* Experience in automation (PowerShell, Python, APIs).

* Exposure to large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
