Runback Operator

Summary/Objective

Unload and runback ingredients for scale room and texture line production.

Essential Functions

• Unload all ingredients delivered to feed mill.
• Runback ingredients for the scale room.
• Runback bags or supplies for texture production line.
• Learn macro and micro ingredients for batching.
• Keep work area and feed mill clean and safe from hazards, injuries, and illnesses at all times

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification
• Minimum of 2 years work experience at a single company

*Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

General knowledge of safety and regulatory rules*

• Ability to read / interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals required.
• Ability to work well with both higher management personnel as well as employees necessary.
• Good attention to detail
• Possess a positive attitude, good work ethic and have excellent attendance records.

Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.

Heavy lifting is expected must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
