Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation, cashiering, and customer interaction. You will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests through quality service and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate Toast POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
• Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation practices throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service or full service restaurant is preferred.
• Culinary experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food handling practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is essential.
