Fixed term - 6 month contract with full time hours

We are seeking a fit, healthy and reliable Runner/Yardman for our Silverdale based waste collections team. The full-time role is physically demanding, and you will spend your days outdoors, collecting waste from various locations. You will also be responsible for helping to maintain the site by keeping it clean, washing bins and interacting with the public.

Qualifications:

• You should be at least 16 years old, this is a physically demanding job so you will be extremely fit.
• As a runner, you will be expected to work hard and have positive attitude, in sometimes challenging weather conditions.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required. We also have a recurring random drug testing policy.
• Minimum requirement Full Class 1 licence. Class 2 and WTR endorsements are an advantage

Job Nature:

Your days will start early at 6am and you'll get to explore three different locations across the Auckland Region (Warkworth, Silverdale, and Whenuapai) to cover shortages in other branches when needed. While the work might have some repetition, don't worry, we'll provide full inductions before you hit the ground running!
