Role Overview As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will label, tag, review, and evaluate text datasets used to train and refine Large Language Models (LLMs). Working alongside Quality Assurance and Project Coordinators, you will execute intent classification, entity tagging, quality scoring, and response ranking to ensure AI outputs meet high standards for accuracy, safety, and helpfulness.

Key Responsibilities

• Labeling & Tagging: Apply detailed schemas for entity tagging, intent classification, sentiment analysis, and topic categorization across large text volumes.
• LLM Evaluation: Compare and rank multiple AI responses based on safety, accuracy, tone, and helpfulness; flag errors and factual inaccuracies.
• Quality Assurance: Review and correct automated or existing annotations, ensuring alignment with evolving project taxonomies.
• Edge Case Escalation: Identify ambiguous data or guideline gaps and escalate them to domain leads.
• Performance: Maintain high throughput while meeting a 95%+ accuracy target against gold-standard benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior background in data annotation, content review, QA, linguistics, writing, or analytical fields preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional English reading comprehension, acute attention to detail, and sound judgment when handling complex guidelines.
• Technical Setup: Personal computer running Windows 11 (Linux/VMs strictly not supported) and a stable internet connection.
• Mindset: Strong time management, adaptability to guideline updates, and ability to handle confidential or sensitive content professionally.
