Duties

• Perform Russian nail techniques, including intricate nail extensions, gel manicures, nail application, and detailed nail art with a focus on precision and quality.
• Conduct comprehensive manicure and pedicure treatments, ensuring optimal nail health and client comfort.
• Apply and maintain various nail enhancements such as nail extensions while adhering to salon safety protocols.
• Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance routines, and recommended treatments for healthy nails.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by following disinfection procedures for tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide professional recommendations, and upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty.
• Support salon safety protocols by ensuring all equipment is sanitized and workspaces are kept clean at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a professional nail technician within the beauty industry, with specific expertise in Russian-style nails preferred.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, and barbering is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse clients confidently and professionally.
• Ability to perform retail sales through upselling complementary products like nail care items or skincare treatments.
• Demonstrated understanding of salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Knowledge of retail math for managing product sales effectively.
