RV FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic RV Fixed Operations Director to lead and optimize the performance of our fixed operations division of our two RV dealerships. This pivotal role involves overseeing service, parts, and repair operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, business development, and data-driven decision making, with a passion for leading teams toward continuous improvement and operational excellence. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will drive strategic initiatives that enhance service quality, streamline processes, and maximize financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of fixed operations including service departments, parts inventory, and repair facilities to meet or exceed operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve customer service experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Oversee profit & loss analysis to monitor financial performance, identify growth opportunities, and control costs effectively.
• Utilize Excel data analysis tools to evaluate performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.
• Manage project initiatives aimed at process improvement, lean management practices, and operational streamlining across departments.
• Foster a high-performance team environment through team development, leadership coaching, and effective managerial communication.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align fixed operations strategies with overall business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive business development efforts by identifying new revenue streams and enhancing existing service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Lead operational management efforts by supervising staff performance, implementing best practices in workflow management, and ensuring seamless customer service delivery.

Experience

• Proven management experience within RV fixed operations or related fields with a strong track record of leading teams successfully.
• Extensive experience in profit & loss management, financial analysis, and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated expertise in Excel data analysis for performance tracking and strategic planning purposes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead process improvements from conception through execution.
• Experience working within a business management environment with an emphasis on team leadership and development.
• Knowledge of sales processes within the service department coupled with customer service excellence skills.
• Familiarity with lean management principles, operational management best practices, and process optimization techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels including executive teams; experience managing managers is highly preferred.
