RV Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on RV electrical systems, including troubleshooting electrical faults and conducting system diagnostics.
• Conduct mechanical repairs such as brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, transmission servicing, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Repair and maintain RV plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other essential components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Diagnose complex issues related to diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, auto body repairs, and equipment repair.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive or RV repair.
• Extensive electrical experience including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge covering transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, HVAC units, shocks & struts, and plumbing system maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other mechanical repair instruments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple vehicle systems simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics software and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Nice-to-have skills include dealership experience in auto or RV repair, carpentry skills for minor interior repairs, auto body repair knowledge, tire service expertise, and familiarity with diesel engine repair.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
