RV Service Writer

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their RV concerns, and document their service needs clearly and thoroughly
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software, ensuring accuracy and transparency for clients
• Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and parts requirements
• Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission repairs to enhance customer value
• Coordinate the scheduling of repairs and ensure timely completion of services while managing multiple jobs efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including cash handling and invoicing, adhering to dealership policies
• Provide exceptional client communication throughout the service process to keep customers informed and satisfied

Requirements

• Must have over 1 year experience as a service writer in an rv repair facility.
• Dealership or collision repair experience highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicle types confidently
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all financial dealings
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a busy environment

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
