RV SERVICE WRITER

NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED RV SERVICE WRITER / SERVICE ADVISOR

First Class RV and Marine is seeking an experienced, highly organized RV Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of repair shop operations, flat-rate technician labor management, parts sourcing, and customer service.
Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of service writing experience REQUIRED.
• Experience in RV, marine, or collision repair service.
• Strong understanding of flat-rate labor operations and technician time management.
• Ability to identify, locate, source, and order parts required for repairs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed repair estimates and work orders.
• Manage and account for technician labor hours on a flat-rate basis.
• Assign and coordinate repair jobs with technicians.
• Monitor labor hours, repair progress, and job profitability.
• Identify, locate, price, and order all parts required to complete repair jobs.
• Verify parts availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with customers regarding repair estimates, approvals, and job status.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and adjusters when necessary.
• Schedule repairs and maintain an efficient shop workflow.
• Ensure repair orders are properly documented and completed.
