S26 Supervisor

Genus Infrastructure is looking for an electrical supervisor to deliver critical electrical infrastructure as operations Project to assist in sustaining long term output and strengthening productivity of the Hope Downs 1 hub.

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.  Successful applicant will be responsible for:   

• Provide daily support and guidance to improve Team performance.
• Supervise, monitor and evaluate personnel to ensure that all work is on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.
• Assist in the creation of electrical and instrumentation Work Packs/Test Packs.
• Ensure all Work Packs and Job Cards are kept up to date, and all changes are accounted for in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal Engineering and Project Teams, as well as external stakeholders, to achieve the Project performance goals.

Essential criteria      

• Trade Qualifications in Electrotechnology, Electrical Instrumentation or relevant similar field.
• Section 26 essential
• Valid, unrestricted WA Electrical Licence.
• FMG Inducted (highly desirable)
• Qualifications in Construction Leadership and Supervision.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in supervisory position, ideally in construction and maintenance roles.
• Valid Driver's Licence - "C" Class"
• OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work to required deadlines.
• Good judgement and decision making.
• High level communication including active listening skills.
