SA - Technical Solution

1. Establish and provide integrated ICT solutions for key industries such as government, finance, energy, ports, manufacturing and OTT across the region.
2. Develop end-to-end submarine cable and terrestrial cable solutions , including cable landing stations, wet/dry plant, route planning, transmission/DWDM, fibre backbone, metro and cross-border connectivity.
3. Support major regional projects throughout the project lifecycle, including customer engagement, solution design, supplier coordination, tendering, quotation, implementation and delivery.
4. Develop the regional ICT ecosystem and establish close partnerships with carriers, submarine cable operators, ICT vendors and technology partners across Africa.
5. Lead cross-country teams and consolidate regional technical and commercial resources to support solution development and business growth.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in submarine cable and terrestrial cable solutions , including solution design, planning, tendering, implementation and delivery.
3. Strong knowledge of submarine and terrestrial network technologies, including cable landing stations, wet/dry plant, transmission/DWDM, optical networks, fibre backbone and cross-border connectivity.
4. Familiar with general ICT solutions such as servers, storage, security, wireless, datacom, cloud and data centres.
5. Government, large enterprise and African submarine/terrestrial cable project experience is preferred .
6. Cisco, Huawei, H3C or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.
7. Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and cross-country team coordination skills.
8. Fluent in English; ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage.
