Key Responsibilities

• Drive site safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations
• Review SWMS, risk assessments and project safety documentation
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Work closely with Site Managers, subcontractors and project teams to manage safety risks
• Provide practical WHS advice and support across all stages of construction
• Monitor compliance with NSW WHS legislation, regulations and project requirements

Skills & Experience

• 5+ year's experience as a safety advisor in construction
• Strong high-rise commercial building experience, ideally across complex or large-scale projects
• Experience managing high-risk construction activities and working closely with subcontractors
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, or equivalent qualification
• Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation, construction safety systems and risk management
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence site teams and drive positive safety outcomes
