Safety Control Room Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor safety and security systems (CCTV, SCADA, Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Leak Detectors, etc.) from the control room.
• Respond promptly to alarms, alerts, and emergency signals in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with emergency response teams and field staff during incidents or drills.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily control room activity and incidents.
• Analyze data trends to proactively identify potential safety risks or system failures.
• Conduct regular system checks and liaise with the technical team for maintenance or faults.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and control room system upgrades.
• Support incident investigations by providing footage/data from surveillance systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all control room information and activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety/SCTE & VT approved.
