The Safety Coordinator will work closely with employees and leadership to promote best practices, enhance awareness, and ensure all personnel are equipped to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and field assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review and verify daily paperwork, including pre-task planning, for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide safety training, coaching, and resources to employees at all levels to ensure awareness and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager to investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive measures.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on safety findings, observations, and trends to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards, and emerging safety practices.
  • Partner with project teams and department leaders to embed safety into daily operations and promote continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for safety-related questions, providing guidance and support to employees.
  • Facilitate and document safety training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and employee competency.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in commercial, industrial, or semiconductor construction environments.
  • Certification in safety-related fields (e.g., OSHA 30, OSHA 510, or equivalent) required.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct audits, observations, and employee training effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications for reporting, data entry, and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Additional Information

  • Work Schedule: Early morning start (4:00 AM) with an average of 50+ hours per week.
  • At EZARC, we value individuals who are truly committed to building and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates seeking only a paycheck without dedication to safety should not apply.
