Safety Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer/Manager in implementing and maintaining the Company's Workplace Safety & Health Management System.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act, relevant regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Prepare, maintain, and update safety documentation, reports, permits, and statutory records.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor workers' compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe work procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on workplace safety matters.
• Support safety campaigns and promote a positive safety culture across all project sites.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
• Possess a valid WSH Coordinator Certificate.
• Good knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety & Health Act and related regulations.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
