Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator assists the Safety Officer in implementing and monitoring Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, programs, and procedures at construction sites and company facilities. The role focuses on ensuring employee safety, preventing workplace accidents, identifying potential hazards, and maintaining compliance with RA 11058 and other applicable occupational safety and health regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring company safety policies, programs, and procedures.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, and seminars for employees.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety rules, regulations, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist in conducting workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Inspect construction equipment, tools, machinery, and work areas to ensure safe working conditions.
• Assist in preparing emergency response plans, fire prevention programs, and other safety measures.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and safety violations and prepare the necessary reports.
• Coordinate with HR regarding safety orientations for newly hired employees.
• Assist in preparing safety reports, risk management plans, and recommendations for workplace improvements.
• Monitor the maintenance and repair of unsafe or damaged equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer and Project Engineer to ensure project sites meet safety standards.
• Recommend improvements to workplace safety procedures and practices.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the Safety Officer or Management.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
