Safety Coordinator – Construction

We are seeking a qualified Safety Coordinator for a construction project in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Safety Coordinator will support daily site safety activities, assist with compliance with project safety requirements, and report to and support the Project Manager while coordinating with the HEP Safety Team and subcontractors.

Duties

· Conduct daily site safety inspections and assist with corrective actions.

· Support JHA/JSA/PTSA, Toolbox Talks, and Permit-to-Work activities.

· Monitor compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements and report safety concerns.

· Assist with incident investigations and preparation of safety reports.

· Assist with and coordinate required site safety training.

· Report to and support the Project Manager and coordinate with the HEP Safety Team and subcontractors.

· Support Fall Protection, Elevated Work, Scaffolding, and Aerial Lift safety activities.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of construction safety experience.

· OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

· Good English communication skills.

· Working knowledge of construction site safety programs and OSHA requirements.

· Must be available as a full-time, dedicated Safety Coordinator for the project.

· Subject to HEP resume review, interview, and approval.

Preferred

· Korean-English or Spanish-English bilingual.

· Semiconductor/FAB or large industrial construction experience.

· Experience supporting subcontractor safety activities.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
