Safety Coordinator (iFM/Project Base)

·       Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with company standards and Singapore legislation (e.g. Workplace Safety and Health Act).

·       Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at project sites and offices.

·       Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

·       Lead Safety Committee meetings, toolbox talks, and other safety training sessions for internal teams and sub-contractors.

·       Maintain up-to-date records of HSE statistics, risk assessments, permits (e.g. PTW for work-at-height), equipment inspection logs, anchor point checks, and compliance requirements.

·       Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g. MOM, NEA, SCDF) to ensure all safety requirements and regulations are met.

·       Develop and conduct periodic emergency response drills, including work-at-height rescue and rope-access emergency procedures.

·       Conduct and document daily Toolbox Meetings, Pre-Rope-Access Inspection Records, Anchorage Check Records, Equipment and Tool Inspection Checklists, and ensure proper maintenance of all safety-critical equipment.

·       Advise management on HSE improvements and sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

·       Implement and monitor ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and support HSE-related audits and certifications.

·       Conduct condition assessments and ensure all maintenance and repair works (e.g. cladding, sealants, waterproofing) comply with Safe Work Procedures and up-to-date Risk Assessments.

·       Prepare and submit Method Statements and Inspection Reports that reflect safety requirements and client/legislative obligations.

·       Conduct coaching and on-site training for proper techniques, inspection protocols, and safety practices.

·       Maintain a strong safety culture through continuous safety induction and awareness training for all employees and vendors.

·       Support internal reviews and client audits by providing updated safety documentation, incident and near-miss records, and other verifiable evidence of safety compliance.

·       Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Direct Superior or Management.
