Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekend opportunities may also be available

True Safety is seeking an experienced, dependable Safety Coordinator / Site Safety Representative to support construction, industrial, and field-based projects throughout Northern Colorado.

This is a contract opportunity for a safety professional who is confident working independently, building strong relationships with crews and supervisors, and helping clients maintain safe, compliant jobsites. Assignments may vary by project, with weekday work available immediately and potential weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional safety presence on active jobsites
• Conduct daily safety observations, hazard identification, and documentation
• Help ensure OSHA compliance and safe work practices
• Support supervisors and crews with safety questions, concerns, and corrective actions
• Verify proper PPE use and overall site-safety compliance
• Lead or support toolbox talks, safety meetings, and new-hire orientations
• Assist with incident response, investigation, and documentation when needed
• Communicate safety findings clearly and professionally with project leadership
• Promote a proactive, respectful, and positive safety culture

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of safety and health experience required
• Construction, industrial, oil and gas, manufacturing, or field safety experience strongly preferred
• OSHA 30 required or strongly preferred
• CHST, STSC, ASP, CSP, or other relevant safety credentials preferred
• Experience working around heavy equipment and active construction sites
• Strong written communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound safety decisions in the field
• Comfortable working outdoors and on active jobsites for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Northern Colorado project locations
• Professional, dependable, organized, and self-motivated

Compensation

• $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
• 1099 independent contractor position
• Immediate opportunity with potential for ongoing assignments
• Paid promptly upon invoicing
