Safety Device Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate to the Safety Manager and monitors the project’s safety compliance to safety

device and equipment across project sites.

2. Assist Safety Manager and Project Safety Head in reviewing construction as built plan and

identify the required safety devices and equipment

3. Prepare recommendations and specifications for appropriate safety devices based on site

hazards and work activities.

4. Evaluate proper installation of safety devices at the project site.

5. Coordinate with Project Manager Supervisors and Project Safety Head / Officer, and

regarding the installation and modification of safety devices.

6. Check the condition, functionality, stability, and effectiveness of safety devices before and

during use.

7. Conduct or coordinate testing of safety devices and equipment as required.

8. Ensure that safety devices comply with company safety policies, project requirements,

applicable OSH regulations, and recognized safety standards.

9. Conduct random site visits and monitor construction activities to determine whether

appropriate safety devices are in place.

10. Maintain an updated inventory of safety devices and equipment at the project site.

11. Prepare inspection reports, testing records, checklists, and other required safety

documentation.

12. Document defective or non-compliant safety devices and track corrective actions.

13. Maintain records of installation, inspection, testing, repair, replacement, and maintenance

activities.

14. Provide technical recommendations concerning safety devices and engineering controls.

15. Coordinate repair, replacement, or upgrading of damaged or inadequate safety devices.

16. Monitor storage and handling of safety devices to prevent damage and deterioration.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of civil engineering course
With at least 2-3 years of work experience in construction industry
With COSH training
Can start ASAP

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
