We are looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. This role focuses on identifying risks, strengthening safety systems, and driving a strong culture of health and safety across operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and take steps to eliminate or control risks.
• Perform duties consistent with the Company’s Safety and Health Policy.
• Compile and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to Safety and Health.
• Lead project reviews and planning to ensure the health and safety matters are adequately addressed prior to implementation.
• Able to facilitate and lead mandatory safety meetings and programs.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees about safe practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Knowledgeable in government laws and regulations related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
• Promote and encourage employee participation in the safety process by providing relevant data, conducting safety meetings, and giving timely feedback on safety concerns.
• Develop and review emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure employees are familiar with emergency procedures.
• Advise and consult with management to improve safety practices, reduce risks, and create a safety-conscious work environment.

What we’re looking for

• Must be a graduate and a licensed Mining Engineer.
• With at least 5 years of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) experience, preferably in mining or quarrying operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSH laws, standards, and government safety regulations.
• Ability to lead safety discussions, meetings, and training programs.
• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting a safe work environment.
• Willing to be assigned and relocated in Brooke’s Point, Palawan.
