Safety Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site safety activities and ensure compliance with EHS standards
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at site
• Ensure proper usage of PPE by workforce and staff
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training programs regularly
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and incident documentation
• Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with project/site teams for safe work execution
• Handle emergency preparedness and fire safety measures
• Ensure compliance with statutory and client safety requirements

Preferred candidate profile :

• Experience in construction / industrial projects
• Good knowledge of EHS standards and safety procedures
• Experience in handling site safety documentation and audits
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle manpower and contractor safety activities
• NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS certified candidates preferred
• Immediate joiners or short notice candidates preferred
