Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections at the construction site to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Review and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and accidents to the Safety Supervisor or Project Manager immediately.
• Prepare and provide the training or basic safety rules and run emergency drills for site employees.
• Run morning safety toolbox talks to ensure that all satefy regulations are complied.
• Ensure that all site employees personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
• Prepare, create, and maintain records of safety audits, permits, and regulatory documents.
• Find root causes of accidents or near-misses and prepare official corrective action reports and prevention reports.
• Responsible for overall site safety management, including daily safety supervision and inspections, hazard identification, and the rectification of identified safety issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of hands-on safety control experience on active construction projects.
• Certified as a Technical Safety Officer by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW)
• Holding a valid Safety Officer License/Certificate as required by Thai law
• Ability to conduct basic safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Ability to communicate in both Thai and English is a must.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Project.

Work Conditions:

• Monday to Saturday 8.00AM to 5.00PM
• Overtime is paid based on labour law
• Working in shifts rotation
• Working on site
