SAFETY EXECUTIVE

About the Role

We are looking for a Safety Executive to support workplace safety and compliance across our logistics facility.

You will work closely with Operations and other departments to promote safe working practices, identify potential risks and continuously improve workplace safety standards.

This is a hands-on role involving regular presence in warehouse and operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Maintain and follow up on hazard logs, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Support safety requirements for forklift, conveyor and warehouse operations.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and safety awareness activities.
• Support HIRARC, LOTO, 6S and workplace safety audits.
• Inspect emergency facilities, fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
• Support workplace incident investigation and reporting.
• Maintain safety records, reports, SOPs and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with Operations and other departments on safety matters.
• Support fire drills, emergency response and other safety programmes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Fresh graduates are not suitable for this position.
• SHO / Green Book qualification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety, risk assessment and compliance.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong communication, reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to communicate safety requirements confidently and work effectively with Operations.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and operational environment.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or a similar operational environment is an advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Experience with safety-related regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• The role supports a 24/7 logistics operation and requires flexibility based on operational needs.
