Safety Manager

Safety Professional – Manufacturing 📍WIxom, MI | On-Site | Full-Time | All Levels Welcome

Are you passionate about workplace safety and love being on the floor where the work actually happens? We're looking for a safety-minded professional to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Southeast Michigan.

Whether you've worked your way up through the trades, hold a degree in occupational health and safety, or are somewhere in between — we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining a strong, visible presence on the production floor every day
• Building genuine relationships with employees at all levels to drive a stronger safety culture
• Conducting accident and near-miss investigations — identifying root causes and seeing corrective actions through to resolution
• Delivering and developing safety training for employees across the facility
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable safety standards
• Maintaining training records and certifications (forklift, crane, mobile equipment, and more)
• Supporting environmental and compliance reporting
• Participating in or leading safety committee meetings

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general safety practices
• A hands-on approach — this role is about presence, not paperwork
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people at every level
• The drive to identify problems, own solutions, and follow through

Education, certifications, and years of experience are flexible — what matters most is your mindset and your commitment to keeping people safe.
