Safety Manager - Central Florida

A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a Safety Manager to support HVAC and mechanical construction projects across Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily jobsite safety and enforce company standards
• Conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents and support workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work coordination
• Review site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses
• Verify employee and subcontractor training documentation
• Partner with project managers and field teams to address hazards
• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience; HVAC or mechanical background preferred
• Experience with incident investigations and claims management
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related construction hazards
• OSHA 500, 510, 30 certification required
• Strong field presence and communication skills
• Ability to travel throughout Central Florida
