Safety Manager

I’m currently seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join a Queensland-based, privately owned commercial and industrial construction company.

This is a hybrid role, working across the office and project sites, overseeing safety across a range of commercial and industrial projects valued at approximately $50 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly site visits to monitor safety performance and compliance.
• Support project teams with day-to-day safety management.
• Oversee site-based Safety Coordinators on larger projects.
• Manage safety reporting, systems and compliance across multiple projects.
• Utilise HammerTech to maintain and improve safety processes.
• Report directly to the Construction Manager.

About You

• Experience as a Senior Safety Advisor or Safety Manager.
• Direct experience within commercial construction is essential, with industrial experience highly regarded.
• Confident managing safety across multiple projects and engaging with project teams.
• Strong understanding of construction safety systems, compliance and risk management.
• Experience using HammerTech is advantageous.
