Job Description Overview:

Cornerstone Control Systems is a licensed electronic systems contractor, providing a “One Source Solution” in fire life safety, access control, video management, surveillance, communication, intrusion detection, fire suppression and other related low voltage systems with offices across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards
• Maintain and update the company safety manual and documentation
• Conduct routine and unannounced job site safety inspections
• Identify hazards and enforce corrective actions
• Support project managers and field teams with site-specific safety planning
• Lead safety training programs (OSHA, fall protection, PPE, lift safety, etc)
• Conduct new hire safety orientations Track and maintain certifications and training records
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses
• Implement corrective and preventative measures
• Track safety metrics (TRIR, incident rates, etc)

Requirements:

• 3-7+ years of safety experience in construction or low-voltage/electrical field
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
• OSHA 30 certification (required)
• OSHA 500/510 (preferred but not required)

Skills Needed:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to enforce standards while maintain good relationships with field teams
