Safety Manager(5 days work ,office base,E&M)

Our client is looking for an Safety manager to join their team:

Responsibilities

• Provide HSEQ leadership and technical guidance to support the safe and reliable operation of the LNG jetty, FSRU interface, and associated facilities.
• Ensure operational activities are conducted in accordance with engineering standards, statutory requirements, company procedures, and industry best practices.
• Lead HSEQ risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and corrective action programs to identify hazards, improve operational integrity, provide preventive actions and reduce risk exposure.
• Drive workforce competency and contractor performance through training, safety programs, and close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Safety, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, with Registered Safety Officer (RSO) qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HSEQ experience in LNG, Oil & Gas, Marine, Energy, Petrochemical, or other high-risk engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of process safety, permit-to-work systems, risk assessment methodologies, contractor management, and international HSEQ standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical stakeholders, analyse operational risks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support safe and efficient asset operations.
