Safety Officer 3

• Assist in preparation of safety programs and policies in compliance with Philippine regulations and international standards for construction projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues.
• Provide safety training and orientation to all personnel, including new hires, subcontractors, and visitors, on safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and hazard recognition.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations on-site and take corrective action to address violations or unsafe practices, including issuing warnings, stop-work orders, and disciplinary measures as necessary.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and contributing factors, and develop recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related documentation, and prepare reports for management, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as required.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to integrate safety considerations into project planning, design, and execution, including hazard analysis, risk assessments, and safety plans.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices, ensuring availability, proper fit, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct emergency drills, mock exercises, and evacuation procedures to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans and enhance preparedness for emergencies.
• Stay informed about new developments in safety regulations, technologies, and best practices in the construction industry, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience as Safety Officer 3 in a Construction Industry
• With experience in Solar Industry is an advantage
• Must have COSH and BOSH certification
• Willing to be assigned in Palauig, Zambales
• Willing to start as soon as possible
