Safety Officer 3

The Site Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the implementation of Health, Safety & Environment manual,

procedures and work instructions at a particular project site which is classified as highly critical, sensitive or hazardous or as specified by project management contract requirements.

Reports to: Admin and Safety Manager / Assistant Manager for Safety

Duties and Tasks:

The duties set out in this work instruction are directly related to the Implementation of the Seapac Health Safety and Environment manual as defined by our Seapac Safety Policy.

This duty Statement relates only to safety matters and at times on the Seapac Site you will be required to perform duties outside this duty statement as directed by the Seapac Site PIC, Site Supervisor. Those instructions shall not override the Seapac Safety Standards.

The requirements are as follows;

Implementation of Seapac Safety Procedures

• The Seapac Safety Manual will cover all areas of safety and include work practices for all work practices, equipment and machinery.

• You are responsible for the implementation of the Seapac Safety Procedures at a Seapac Site.

• Ensure all Seapac personnel are issued and wear PPE as set down in Seapac safety manual.

• Ensure all Seapac personnel shall follow and understand the method statement of the site

• You are to carry out regular inspections at your Site with regards to safety.

• You will coordinate with the Admin and Safety Manager / Assistant Manager for Safety and Project Supervisor or Installation Manager with regards to safety issues that need immediate attention.

Minimum Requirements:

-Extensive knowledge at DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards Requirements. With COSH & BOSH

-DOLE PRACTIONER license is advantage but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Safety Officer: 3 years (Preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
