What they need
About the role
Implement and monitor company and project safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards. Ensure compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and project safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and site safety briefings
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Monitor employees' compliance with safety rules and proper use of PPE
- Assist in investigating workplace accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with project personnel regarding safety concerns and preventive measures
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field is preferred
- Must have a valid Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certification
- BOSH/COSH Safety Officer training is an advantage
- Preferably with experience as a Safety Officer in a construction/project site
- Knowledgeable in DOLE OSH standards and construction safety practices
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
- Willing to work on-site and in a project-based environment
