Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety plans, risk assessments, and control measures for MEP-related works.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety laws, company policies, and client requirements.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and promote safety awareness among employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE and safety procedures for high-risk activities, including working at height, confined space, and hot works.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, support audits and inspections, and coordinate with relevant government agencies to ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field (must hold a Professional Safety Officer license – จป.วิชาชีพ)
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in safety management, preferably in MEP or high-rise construction projects
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
• Good communication and training skills with the ability to influence and lead others on-site
• Ability to work independently under pressure with high responsibility
• Additional certifications (e.g., Working at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work Safety) are considered a plus
