SAFETY OFFICER

About the Role

AMC Ads Corp. is looking for a Safety Officer who will be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant working environment at our project sites.

The role is ideal for a Safety Officer with experience in construction, fabrication, installation, events, or large-scale projects and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and site monitoring.
• Identify hazards and implement appropriate safety controls.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and site safety orientations.
• Monitor proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, checklists, permits, and other required documents.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, welding/hot works, electrical works, lifting/rigging, installation, and dismantling.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Monitor employees, contractors, and subcontractors for compliance with safety requirements.
• Assist in emergency preparedness, drills, and response.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and other project personnel regarding safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DOLE Occupational Safety and Health requirements and client/project safety standards.
• Immediately escalate serious safety violations and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a relevant bachelor's degree or related field.
• With DOLE-accredited Safety Officer training/certification appropriate to the project requirement.
• With BOSH/COSH or equivalent OSH training.
• Preferably with 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, events, or project-site operations.
• Experience in large-scale projects, event installation, or construction is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site, extended hours, weekends, holidays, or night shifts depending on project requirements.

Pay: Php14,345.30 - Php29,883.44 per month
