Safety Officer

About the role

This role involves advising on and ensuring compliance with Thailand's Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment laws and related regulations, with a focus on electronics manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and ensure the compliance with Thailand's Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment laws and related regulations.
• Conduct the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for electronics manufacturing processes and lead the Job Safety Analysis activities.
• Develop safety manuals, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct safety orientation and training for employees and contractors.
• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for near-misses, unsafe acts and incidents. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to maintain a "Zero Accident" in workplace.
• Coordinate and monitor workplace environmental.
• Plan, organize, and execute annual Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment activities.
• Prepare, verify, and submit all legally mandated reports accurately and within deadlines.
• Drive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) program and support sustainability & continuous improvement.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or an approved related fields (which holding a certified professional qualification).
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Certified Safety Officer.
• Experience in Electronics, or Semiconductor manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Thai safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
