Passionate about workplace safety? Help create a safer working environment. We’re looking for an organised, analytical Safety Officer who thrives in a fast-paced team.

What you’ll need:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certificate.
• HIRA certification.
• At least

2 years’ Safety Officer experience, with 4 years preferred.

• Valid South African driver’s licence and own transport.

Advantageous: Level 3 Incident Investigation Certificate, Fall Protection Planner Certificate, SACPCMP registration and a valid passport.

Your role will include:

• Conducting risk assessments and recommending preventative measures.
• Checking that tools and equipment are safe for use.
• Monitoring hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Preparing and implementing the Safety and Health Plan.
• Providing after-hours standby support when required.
