Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure a safe working environment across construction sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE safety regulations, project requirements, and company HSE policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training for workers.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Prepare risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and method statement reviews.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and HSE documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and client representatives on safety matters.
• Monitor safe working practices for excavation, working at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, and other high-risk activities.
• Ensure emergency procedures, fire safety measures, and first-aid arrangements are in place.
• Stop unsafe work and report serious safety violations to site management.
