Safety Officer (Direct & Project-Based)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports
• Conduct safety training, orientations, and toolbox meetings
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize risks
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Coordinate with government agencies for safety compliance and reporting
• Promote a culture of safety awareness within the organization

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any related field
• Certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) is an advantage
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and training skills
• Detail-oriented with strong observation skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations
• Willing to work on-site and conduct field inspections
• With Standard First Aid Training
