Safety Officer II

The Safety Officer II is responsible for assisting in the implementation and monitoring of workplace health and safety policies and procedures. The role ensures compliance with company safety standards and government regulations while promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing company safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Assist in preparing safety reports, incident logs, attendance records, and checklist documentation.
• Help facilitate safety orientations and toolbox meetings for employees.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) within the workplace.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding safety concerns and corrective actions.
• Participate in emergency drills and safety awareness activities.
• Maintain organized and updated safety-related records and documents.
• Support the Safety Department in other administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course; Engineering course is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must have BOSH/COSH Certification (mandatory requirement).
• Basic knowledge in occupational health and safety compliance.
• Keen to details, organized, and disciplined.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to do field/site work when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
