Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Safety Specialist to apply scientific and practical knowledge in safety compliance, focusing on designing and improving systems, processes, and equipment to enhance safety in alignment with daily operations and innovation goals.

• Lead safety improvement projects and support departmental themes.
• Proactively implement PDCA cycles to reduce hazards and injuries, promoting continuous safety improvements.
• Utilize safety expertise to support leadership, safety committees, and advocates in fostering a strong safety culture.
• Interpret and apply safety policies, conduct risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and document safety activities with detailed reporting and data analysis.
• Develop technical skills and professional expertise.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields, with 0-4 years of safety experience. Key skills required:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and injury prevention strategies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and effective planning abilities.

Working conditions entail open office and manufacturing environments, with possible overtime, shift work, and minimal travel. The role involves performing production line work when needed.
