What You'll Do:

• Conduct safety meetings; must be able to communicate technical information in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner.
• Conduct site safety inspections; make recommendations how to remedy unsafe conditions and monitor work place conditions.
• Perform regular training and testing on DOT operator qualification topics and OSHA confined space, lockout/tagout, HAZCOM, H2S safety and other related issues.
• Prepare safety policies and guidance materials.
• Maintain and track safety training records.
• Perform accident investigations.
• Evaluate contractor safety performances.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities

• A college degree with related experience in safety work; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

• Good office skills and record keeping abilities.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities

• Prior pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word processing software.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• English language fluency, verbal and written
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
