Safety Specialist

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Safety Specialist to support safety, compliance, DOT, and operational activities. This role will help maintain records, coordinate administrative processes, and support employee and contractor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding and safety training
• Maintain subcontractor documentation and records
• Track contractor licenses, renewals, and requirements
• Coordinate annual MVR reviews and maintain related records
• Maintain organized and accurate compliance documentation
• Coordinate drug and alcohol testing documentation and processes
• Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative experience with exposure to safety, OSHA, or DOT compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable with presenting training in a group setting
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health Sciences, Occupational Safety, or a related field is a plus
