What they need
Key responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety plans and procedures for construction projects
Provide safety induction and training to all site personnel, ensuring workers understand their responsibilities and safety protocols
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Maintain detailed safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational requirements
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce safe working practices
Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on site, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance
Reqirements
Certificate in Construction Safety Supervisor
At least 2 years' site safety supervisor experience in construction projects
Holder of First Aid Certificate is preferred
Self-motivated, initiative and strong communication and interpersonal skills
Immediate available is preferred
