Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across plant operations, reporting to the Plant Manager. This role involves conducting inspections and audits, assessing HSE risks, managing contractor safety programs, and driving continuous improvement of the Health Safety Environmental and Energy Management system to ensure ISO compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspection, auditing, and monitoring for unsafe equipment, processes, areas, unsafe behavior, or regulatory breaks
• Assessing HSE risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
• Conduct contractor safety management program
• Conduct and participate in training for new and existing employees on HSE standards and Energy Saving
• Perform HSE activities plans including Energy Saving
• Investigate employees in case of job injury or accident events
• Investigate employees in case of breaking company rules and regulations
• Perform and drive continual projects to improve and develop the Health Safety Environmental and Energy Management system
• Ensure company compliance with all requirements of ISO International Standard
• Coordinate with all functional teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented system

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science field
• 5+ years direct working experience in Quality/Environmental Management System in manufacturing environment
• Experience as ISO9001/ISO14001 coordinator or Internal Auditor
• Knowledge of local HSE laws, regulations, rules, and standards
• Good command of English language
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office tools
• Fundamental industrial hygiene, principle of accident prevention, risk assessment and loss control
• Open-minded, good relationship-building, circumspect and observant
